Washington Street

Formed in 2017, Atlantis Cooperative House was located at 429 SE Washington Street in the Heritage Hill neighborhood of Grand Rapids. The property was leased by Grand Rapids Alliance of Cooperative Communities (GRACC) from a private landlord. The property was acquired by MCLC in August of 2025 with the intention of creating a permanent home for Atlantis. In early 2026, GRACC determined that the property was no longer a good fit for its portfolio, and it terminated the house. MCLC is in the process of establishing a new community in the house.
